Brainstorming - 4 topics

My brainstorming ideas are:

- Cancer, how it's caused, why, how its treated, who gets it, etc (I know many people who have or had cancer... it has greatly affected my life, and I wish I knew more about it the disease that claims so many lives in the US, I want to learn more about the methods of research, the causes, and the theories related to cancer.

- Children with disabilities and the schooling and education available to students with special needs (How many special needs students are there in the US? What qualifies as special needs? Is there a need for schools for special needs students? How many schools are there?)

-- I was also thinking, the other day in psychology we briefly talked about different psychological diseases that can plague people... I want to look more into that and narrow it down to more specific diseases - but that whole topic of psychological disorders interests me.

- US Veterans (Health care, what happens to them when they are done w/ active duty) and Boot Camp for the armed forces. (kind of broad, I know- I'll work on this)
